Some Adobe Illustrator works.

Here are just a few samples of things I've created using Adobe Illustrator. Not really much else to say except that I love cars and drawing them!

This was the first full car i drew in Illustrator. It's my favorite car ever, the Porsche 964.

This time I tried a few different techniques to make the truck look a bit more realistic. I used gradients instead of solid shapes to show highlights and shadows. The truck is a 1954 Ford F100, my Dad's favorite truck. This was actually his Christmas present from me, I got it printed out and it's hanging on the wall.

Here I put in a lot more attention to detail using various tools and techniques to complete the final piece. A lot more time was used to create this one because of all the details, and the fact that i set the car in a full background which I drew as well. The car is a MK3 VW GTI.

Trip to the mall.

I've always liked the scenery at the mall, so I decided to finally capture some of it. not really much to say about this shoot other than experimenting with different angles, lighting etc, and that I brought one of my friends along.

The Cheesecake Factory was packed saturday night! I really liked the lighting choices on the building.

I had to wait for a few cars to move before i got this shot, but i think it turned out nice.

Construction was being done to the top level of the parking deck. So I took advantage of the fact there were no cars.

The background is pretty interesting with all the concrete. I don't know what he was looking at though...

I thought it was pretty neat that the elevator had a glass window on the back so you can see the moving parts as it went up.

FIRST POST!

So let me just start this off with a little bit of info on myself. I'm 20 years of age, graduated from Franklin High School in 2008, currently attending duCret School of Art in Plainfield NJ. I'm going for a Graphic Design major there, I should have my degree in two or three years depending on which classes i choose to take. I started working with Adobe's Creative Suite back in my junior year of high school. From then up until I started classes at Somerset County Technology Institute (SCTI) I had only had a comfortable amount of experience with Photoshop and Illustrator. But since then, my skills have been expanded to working with Indesign, Quark, and a few other major programs for designing.


Working on the computer is not the only form of art I can do, some of my other works include sculpture (ceramic, plaster, cardboard, paper), acrylic painting, photography, drawing (pencil, charcoal, marker), and cut paper. So now let me post a few pictures of my artwork to give you a taste for what I can do.

This was an acrylic painting on canvas that I did in my free time. I was "spacing out" haha.

Here is a trophy mount of a Cockatoo. It was a high school project where we were assigned to create a trophy mount of an exotic animal that you normally wouldn't see hanging on the wall. This piece went on to be displayed in the Youth Art Month exhibit at Raritan Valley Community College.

This is probably my favorite piece I've ever done, and it was definitely the most fun. It's a 1990 Porsche 964 Turbo, my favorite car ever. Seven layers of Color-Aid Paper were used to create the final result. It took me a total of 12 hours of class time to cut and glue everything together.

A good friend of mine had the idea to take pictures of the sunrise on Point Pleasant beach the day after Hurricane Earl passed by. Her and I go some really nice shots, this being one of them.

The first day I got my new camera I went to the local park and took a bunch of photos, mainly just familiarizing myself with the controls. Well, I ended up taking this panoramic shot of the bridge going over the Delaware-Raritan Canal. I used about 15 different photos and pieced them all together in Photoshop.
